Swinton 'Hand Up' Award

The intention of this bursary is to support a mature student looking to start or transition their career after having spent time as a member of the workforce. Available to full-time students enrolled in any program at Olds College. The recipient must be a Canadian citizen and resident of either Alberta, Saskatchewan, or Manitoba. The recipient has spent a minimum of two (2) years in a previous career prior to returning to school. All factors equal, preference may be given to a single parent. Applicant will submit a 500 word essay outlining why they have chosen to start or transition into a new career.
