GLOBAL AFFAIRS CANADA INTERNATIONAL SCHOLARSHIPS PROGRAM

The Global Affairs Canada (GAC) International Scholarships Program offers scholarships for international students, researchers, and professionals to study or conduct research in Canada and for Canadian students, researchers, and professionals to study, teach, and conduct research abroad. This program, funded by the Government of Canada helps advance Canadian post-secondary institutions’ internationalization efforts, contributes to increasing student mobility, and serves to promote Canada as a top study destination abroad.

Scholarships for international students, researchers and faculty
Emerging Leaders in the Americas Program: Short-term exchanges of 4-6 months in Canada available for students and researchers from Latin America and the Caribbean.
Study in Canada Scholarships: Short-term exchanges of 4-6 months in Canada available for students and researchers from select countries in Asia, Europe, the Middle East and North Africa, and Sub-Saharan Africa.
Canada-CARICOM Skills Training for the Green Economy Scholarships: Short-term exchanges of 4-8 months in Canada for technical or vocational education training in disciplines related to the green economy available for students from CARICOM member states.
Canada-CARICOM Faculty Leadership Program: Short-term exchanges of 2 weeks to 6 months in Canada available for faculty and international liaison officers at post-secondary institutions in CARICOM member and associate member states.
Canada-China Scholars’ Exchange Program: Scholarships for 4 to 12 months of research in Canada available for teaching or research staff, graduate degree holders, and professionals from China.
Canada-ASEAN Scholarships and Educational Exchanges for Development (SEED) – for students: Short-term exchanges of 4 to 8 months in Canada available for students from member states of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations.
