Western Feed Industry Association (WFIA-ANAC) - Alberta and Saskatchewan
The Animal Nutrition Association of Canada (ANAC) is the national trade association of the livestock and poultry feed industry.
Western Feed Industry Association is a Division of ANAC , (WFIA-ANAC) represents 66 Regular members, and 18 Associate members in the provinces of Alberta and Saskatchewan.
WFIA is directly affiliated with the Animal Nutrition Association of Canada (ANAC), whose mandate is to foster a favourable regulatory and business environment for the industry, while supporting initiatives to maintain the highest standards of feed and food safety.
Impact
Our WFIA members include feed manufacturers and distributors, as well as suppliers of goods and services such as feed ingredients, nutritional additives, animal nutrition products, equipment, packaging, and testing services.
The feed industry is a key component of Canada’s agri-food economy and an active partner in the nation’s food safety system.
