Tom McBeath Memorial Fund

Tom McBeath graduated from Olds College in 1924.
He continued his studies at the University of Alberta and taught for several years at the Raymond School of Agriculture.
He worked for 41 years at COMINCO in the fertilizer division.
His influence led to a program of testing and demonstrating commercial fertilizers.
The Alberta Institute of Agrologists gave him the Distinguished Agrologist Award.
In addition to his dedication to his chosen vocation, he has given outstanding service to the Olds College and its Alumni Association and to the Canadian Council of 4-H clubs.
Tom was inducted into the Olds College Hall of Fame in 1974.
