Alberta Shorthorn Association (Rod MacKenzie Memorial)
The Alberta Shorthorn Association is a group of breeders that are dedicated to the propagation and promotion of great Shorthorn genetics.
Rod was a purebred beef producer from Mountainview in Southern Alberta.
He was recognized as an excellent stockman and a fine gentleman; cancer claimed his life much too early.
Impact
His family and the Alberta Shorthorn Association thought a scholarship at Olds College was an excellent way to remember contributions.
