RME Ken Wood Memorial Award

Available to a full-time student enrolled in the second year of the Agriculture and Heavy Equipment Diploma at Olds College. Awarded on the basis of achievement of a minimum GPA of 2.8 in the first year of study. The student recipient must be actively involved in the community. Applicants must submit a personal statement of 1500 words or less describing why they feel that investment in the agriculture industry is important and a short personal narrative on how they have impacted their own agricultural community. The award will be nominated by instructional staff in cooperation with senior management at Rocky Mountain Equipment. The successful recipient of the RME Ken Wood Memorial Award will be required to meet with the RME management team at a central Alberta dealership for an award presentation.
