Alberta Seed Processors - Seed Smart Scholarship

The Alberta Seed Processors have established the Seed Smart scholarship fund to recognize academic and leadership skills of students currently enrolled in agriculture-related studies. This fund consists of two scholarships, with a value of $1,000 each, to be granted on a yearly basis. The scholarship will be awarded according to criteria of accomplishments which include, but are not limited to; academic and non-academic, volunteerism, and personal endeavours. Applicants demonstrating leadership in rural communities and/or agriculture-related pursuits will be the preferred candidates.

To be eligible:
Applicant MUST:

• Be a Canadian citizen and a permanent resident of Alberta
• Be enrolled in full-time agriculture-related studies at an accredited post-secondary institution in Canada, with preference given to those studying in Alberta
• Have finished, at least, one full year of post-secondary education relating to agriculture, and be enrolled for another year
